Who am I
Dino Van Eeckhaut was born into a family rooted in the hospitality industry, destined from a young age to follow in the footsteps of his “hotelier-restaurateur” parents. At just 12, he began his journey by assisting in his family’s hotel restaurant, bringing breadbaskets to the tables—a humble start that sparked his passion for the industry. After completing part of his secondary education, Dino attended the prestigious Hotel & Restaurant Management School of Ter Duinen in Koksijde, Belgium, graduating in 1981.
He launched his professional career as a Management Trainee at Hilton Brussels, where he gained hands-on experience in all facets of Food & Beverage (F&B), from stewarding and kitchen operations to restaurant and bar service, food & beverage Analyst and ultimately advancing to F&B Operations Analyst. Dino’s career quickly evolved as he joined the opening team at the SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels, where he spent four years as Director of Food & Beverage. His expertise led him back to Hilton International, where he took on the role of Director of Food & Beverage in Athens, Greece.
In 1995, Dino’s career took a turn toward theme park hospitality when he joined Disneyland Paris as Director of Operations at the Disneyland Hotel, achieving promotion to General Manager in 1996. His extensive career path has since led him to executive roles across major global destinations, including Greece, Paris, Egypt, Qatar, Morocco, and Dubai. Today, with decades of experience, Dino has shifted his focus to a niche role as a hospitality job matchmaker, applying his wealth of knowledge to connect talented individuals with the opportunities they need to thrive in the hospitality world.
